What's new in v4.10.4
POPcon 4.10.4 is a stability release for the 4.10 series. There are no new features and no configuration changes.
- Service no longer fails to start after the update. On some accounts the 4.10 OAuth migration could leave the stored token-expiry value empty, which stopped the service in 4.10.3. POPcon now tolerates an empty or missing value and simply refreshes the Microsoft 365 token on the next poll.
- A failed configuration load can no longer wipe your working configuration. The service now writes its configuration atomically (keeping a
.bakcopy), and a configuration file that does not parse is treated as a failed load — the existing file is never overwritten. Your accounts are preserved.
Recommended for anyone running a 4.10.x version, especially installations that went through the Microsoft 365 / OAuth re-consent during the 4.10 upgrade. This is an in-place upgrade — your accounts and settings are kept and no re-authorisation is needed.

Upgrade Instructions
